Where have I been?!?!?!

5 days after surgery2 weeks after surgery
Its been almost a month since I wrote the last time and there is a good reason for that!!! I think some of you know that I had surgery on 9/5. This lil heavy boy that is cooking right now and has one trimester left as of today gave me severe carpal tunnel syndrome in the rt hand so we had to get it taken care of!!!! My friend Christina has stayed with me the last 2 weeks and has been a HUGE help taking care of the house, the kids-all 3 and ALL the CRAZY dogs!!! We have survived the madness around here including another round of kidney stones, a lil 5 yr old who misses her dad, a 7 mo old who is teething and has diarrhea and a diaper rash, a 2.5 yr old who has decided bed is for everyone but her and the neighbor threatning the dogs!!! Its been a fun 2 weeks-Christina deserves a heroes award and a nice vacation!!!!

The baby is doing well.....I am 27 weeks today-13 left!!! Tom should be coming home around Dec 21 for the babys birth! I have only gained 7 lbs and I am measuring 28 weeks! I measured a week small with the girls so Im guessing this lil man is going to be a lil bigger than his sisters!

Tom is no longer at Basrah Air Station. He has been moved north again closer to Baghdad. He has had a lil more work at the new place but not much more. It is good that things are so quiet there right now but it does make the time pass slowly! The girls and I miss him so much and cant wait to see him! I am thankful that he makes a huge effort to email and to send pics often! I am grateful that we are able to talk on the phone and have internet access! Modern technology has made this deployment so much easier! It also made it so that my amazing husband could send me these beautiful flowers the day after surgery!!!! What a sweetie!

Parker Colorado Tornado

Here is a pic that my sister took from my moms balcony with her camera phone! This was taken last night when a tornado touched down in the Parker, Colorado area where my mom, Leste and Navi live!!!

Kindergarten!!!

Well its official...Bella is a Kindergartener!!! Today was her first day of school. She wasnt too thrilled about waking up at 615-wait til early morning seminary-but after her shower and getting dressed she was a lil more excited. She said her stomach was hurting and Im guessing nerves so she didnt eat breakfast just drank some orange juice and we were out the door with lil sister in tow! I have never seen a school so chaotic as her school this morning. We had to park on the lawn! Inside the school was not much better but I waited with her til her teacher took her class in the room and she seemed fine and no freak out phone calls as of yet so I think we are good! Im anticipating 245 so that I can go pick her up and see how day one went!!! I cant believe that Tom and I have a lil one in Kindergarten! I couldnt get her to take a pic with her backpack but here she is on her first day of school!!!

Sea World-San Antonio again!!!

This last weekend was another Sea World Adventure for us....this time with Carlos, Celia, Christina and Abram. It was a 2 hour drive down there for the day and we came back that night. We had a great time as usual...the only downfall was the DOWN POUR we got caught in!!! It rained like crazy for about 45 min and we had to hide out under a sales booth! We were soaked and never dried so we ended up having to go buy new clothes at Old Navy once we left Sea World to go to dinner in and drive home! We were so glad that Carlos and Celia were able to come spend the weekend with us and that we were able to see Carlos before he heads out for the sandbox in a week or two!

Cameron Park Zoo

On Friday my friend Jessica and I decided to our kids to the zoo. Here in Killeen we dont actually have a zoo so we drove an hour to Waco to go to the zoo. I realized with the couple of different zoos I have seen since living in 3 different states the last few years how spoiled and lucky I was to have the Denver Zoo. Cameron Park Zoo is tiny and we made it through the whole zoo in 2 hours and that included a stop for nachos and a drink. Nevertheless the girls loved it. I think the best exhibit was the jaguars and across from them was the coyotes so not only were we out of the sun for those but the animals were actually awake and doing something-as you can tell from the pics it was hard to find animals to take pics with!!!! Alot of the animals were sleeping I think because of the heat. Bella says her favorite thing to see was the Meerkats and Lena says her favorite thing was the elephants both of which were awake. When we got in the car at 1230 to leave Jessicas temp said 98! We will have to keep trying out different zoos until we find one as great as the Denver Zoo although it was nice to not have the crowd the Dever Zoo ALWAYS has!!!!
